Kate has been practicing within the design industry since 2014 both in Tasmania and The Netherlands, joining the Playstreet team upon returning to Australia in early 2020.
Kate has a background in architectural, technical, graphic and urban-scale design and is passionate about big picture thinking, applying her strong conceptual skills to urban and landscape projects. Kate is a skilled graphic communicator, taking pride in conveying the smallest detail or largest master plan with refinement.
Kate sees good design as being firmly rooted in context, and with a strong foundation in place-making she maximises opportunities for story telling through a collaborative design process.
Having purchases a fixer-upper, Kate spends a great deal of her free time with a paintbrush or shovel in hand or away camping in one of the many of the beautiful Tasmanian campsites.
