Work with us

Quick! Now’s your chance to move to Tassie before everyone else in the country does!

From World Heritage landscapes, beaches with white squeaky sands and turquoise waters (and now thanks to climate change, warm temperatures), the best whiskies in the world and cheese that y ou would sell your soul for…..

Tassie has become synonymous with artisan, bespoke, quality products and our aim at Playstreet is to produce the same for landscape. We are lucky to be working in some of the most beautiful and inspiring places on the planet such as Cradle Mountain and Freycinet National Park.

Playstreet is a progressive design studio that delivers a place based narrative design approach.

We design in, for and with landscape, to engage all senses and create meaningful and beautiful places. This brings mindfulness, enabling memorable experiences and joy.

Our shared values are engagement, Integrity, Curiosity, Diversity, Senses and Reflection.

We are looking for a passionate landscape architect who shares the same values.  They must have a clear understanding of the fundamentals of landscape architecture — a creative all rounder, strong thinker, and multi-tasker with the ability to work effectively on multiple projects of all scales and stages.

We have a collaborative project management approach, so we need a team player with good communication skills, both within the office and  with clients, consultants and construction contractors. Applicants must be open minded with a thirst for learning (and sharing), and be excited about  building the future of the company with new ideas and skills.

Tasmania and Hobart is an amazing, vibrant place to live and is undergoing unprecedented change.  We are lucky to be a part of its future, working in its natural and cultural landscapes. The projects we work on are diverse and exciting — ranging from natural tourism site planning within the national parks and food bowl industries, through to building some of the most amazing nature based playgrounds and public spaces. This could be an incredible lifestyle change to work and experience everything Tasmania has to offer.
