At the heart of the new Kingston Park development and the gateway to the new park and playspace, is the recently opened Kingborough Community Hub, designed by Marsh Studio.

A key feature of the architecture is an arbour that wraps around the structure, designed to cloak the building in green. In addition to the overall planting design, Playstreet was commissioned by Kingborough Council to design a combined planter and seating.

The resulting garden bed seats offer ample root zone for the ornamental grapes to grow, with soil extending all the way under the 3m long seats and benches.
