Lou has been practicing within the design and construction industry since 2011, joining the Playstreet team in 2018.
With a previous life in Building Design and Architecture she brings extensive design and construction knowledge to the Playstreet team, having worked across various architectural project scales from small residential works to multi-million dollar hotels and hospital refurbishments. Lou enjoys the process of collaborating with stakeholders and other consultants on complex multidisciplinary projects to deliver the best project outcomes.
Lou has a particular interest in health and wellbeing projects, and has been involved in a number of landscape projects across mental health, aged care, and crisis care sectors where she’s worked to create compassionate spaces that prioritise safety, comfort and dignity for users to positively impact physical and mental wellbeing.
Lou fancies herself a bit of an urban farmer, and at home you’ll find her tending her garden and ever-growing menagerie.
